Introducing Seoul, Korea to my girlfriend -part 5-

Hello Everyone, and welcome back to our journey! If you’re here for the first time, be sure to check out the link at the bottom for my previous blog about our trip. In Part 5, we had a chill day ,walking around town and get some fancy Korean beef called “한우(Hanwoo)”. Let’s dive into what we experienced there!

Hair Day!

Since Abbie visited South Korea, she’s been totally obsessed with going to a Korean hair salon. I’m convinced she just saw it in Instagram reels and wants to dye her hair like a K-drama star, haha! Luckily, my aunt is a fabulous hairstylist and always takes care of our family’s hair. So, I thought, why not? I took Abbie to my aunt’s salon for a little hair adventure! Not gonna lie, my aunt was a bundle of nerves—like she was about to give a speech at the Oscars or something!

she loved her new hair

After waiting a long time, I finally revealed Abbie’s brand new hair. Honestly, she was worried about going for a darker color. I confidently told her it really suited her and made her look extremely demure. I could see her happy smile as we walked out of the salon. She seemed to love her hair; it was worth the effort. It makes me happy to see her happy—that’s all I want from this trip!

First time trying to eat Hanwoo

You know that moment when you forget to feed your girlfriend after she gets her hair done? She gets HANGRY. I mean HANGRY! But lucky for us, my family wanted to meet up at a fancy Korean restaurant for some Hanwoo beef.

That beef was malting in my mouth!

As we walked into the restaurant, Abbie was shocked by how fancy it was. And when she saw the Hanwoo for the first time, I could practically see her drooling over the amazing tender beef! The marbling was so nice that she couldn’t tell if it was butter or beef—seriously, it was that incredibly tender! It was a hilarious sight, and I knew we were in for a delicious meal!

Apgujeong Rodeo Street

After our amazing meal, we strolled around Apgujeong Rodeo Street, soaking up the trendy vibe that makes this spot a must-visit in Seoul. With its upscale shops and chic boutiques, it’s like a playground for fashion lovers! Abbie was practically giddy, darting from one stylish store to another, checking out everything from high-end local designers to eye-catching international brands.

As we wandered, she couldn’t help but admire the lively atmosphere—the street was buzzing with energy, and the cafes were just begging us to stop for a quick treat (which we totally did!). Abbie was in heaven, and it was clear that Apgujeong had stolen her heart. The mix of modern architecture and charming details made it feel like a fashion-forward fairy tale. We both laughed and enjoyed every moment, knowing this was the perfect way to cap off a fantastic day in the city!
